General information, not advice

The articles, guides, videos and emails on this site are general information for people in British Columbia. They are not financial, insurance, tax or legal advice for your situation. Rules, products, prices and policy terms vary by insurer and change over time, so always read your own documents and get advice that takes your circumstances into account before you make a decision. For wills, trusts and estate matters, speak with a lawyer or notary.

We work to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete or current, and we are not responsible for decisions made only on the basis of general content on this site.

Free consultations and booking

A consultation booked through this site or at booking.milosarmiento.com is free and comes with no obligation to buy anything. Any product recommendation is made only after Milo understands your needs, and any insurance or investment you choose is governed by the contract with the insurer or provider, not by these terms. Please give us notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment; the confirmation email includes a link to do this.

The free guide and emails

If you ask for a free guide (for example "7 Secrets of Life Insurance"), we first send one email asking you to confirm your address. Only after you confirm do we send the guide, a short email series and, after that, occasional emails with new articles. People who request a consultation may receive a few short follow-up emails about booking it.

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply to any email or write to info@milosarmiento.com. Once you unsubscribe, we stop sending these emails. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Reviews and testimonials

Client reviews shown on this site are taken from Milo's public Google Business Profile and reflect each person's own experience. Your results may differ.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site: do not submit someone else's details, send spam or automated submissions through the forms, try to break or overload the site, or copy its content for commercial use without permission. We may block submissions that look automated or abusive.

Content and links

The text, guides, images and videos on this site belong to Milo Sarmiento or are used with permission. You may share links to pages and print or save them for your own personal use. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on its general content. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
